Dear Parents,
This letter is to inform you about Teacher Melissa. She will having surgery
soon, most likely in early November (it has been rescheduled for the beginning of December) and
her recovery time will be at least two months if not longer. During her absence, Arianna Sist will be here. Arianna
has worked with Teacher Pat and me several years ago at Montessori of Windsor Woods. We wanted to let you know that
soon you will be seeing a new face greeting you in the morning and that Melissa will be returning as soon as she is able.
We also have a new afternoon staff addition, Junko McSwain. She will be
joining us very soon, within the next couple of weeks. Junko is originally from Japan and although this is her first
experience working in a Montessori school, she has had plenty of prior experience teaching. We look forward to her joining
our staff.
Do not be surprised if your children come home speaking a smattering of different
languages, as we have a Spanish, Italian, Russian and now a fluent Japanese speaker at our school!
