Can I call the school?

Yes. Please call if your child will be absent.  You may always leave a message if the school is not yet open.  Should you need to speak with a teacher please leave a message and we will return your call just as soon as we are able.  If you will be late picking up, please be kind and give us a call so we do not worry about you and your child does not worry.

If you have an emergency, call anytime.

When is tuition due?

Tuition is due by the 5th of every month.  A late fee of $25.00 is incurred after the 5th of the month.  Should you need other payment arrangements, please speak with T. Lisa.

MCH II accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards.  .

When should my child wear a uniform?

Children are required to wear their uniform shirts every day.  If you need a uniform shirt, please see T. Lisa or T. Pat.  We have some in stock.  Also, we have a gently used box that you can purchase a uniform shirt for $3.  Be sure to check it out!

Are there any restrictions on clothing?

Clothing - Wearing the school polo makes getting ready in the morning a cinch, only need to worry about bottoms!

Jewelry - Please no plastic/play jewlery.  Real gold or silver jewelry is allowed, since it rarely breaks. Medical alert jewelry is absolutely fine!

Accessories -. If your child wears items such as necklaces, bracelets, etc. please be aware that MCH is not responsible for lost or broken items  Items that are found will be placed in a "lost and found" box located in the foyer.

Chapstick/Lip Gloss- We are not permitted to have these in the reach of children.  Parents, please cooperate.  Please do not place these items in your child's lunch pail, totebag, or pockets.  This is a licensing regulation.

Footwear - MCH does not allow the following:

  • rain boots
  • cowboy boots
  • tap shoes
  • clogs
  • flip-flops
  • open-toed shoes
  • high-heeled shoes for girls

Medicine-MCH does not give any medication EXCEPT Epi-pens and asthma inhalers. For these two medications, you will need to fill out the appropriate forms and have them signed by your child's doctor PRIOR to bringing them to the school.  Again, please cooperate.   We can not accept EPI-PENS or inhalers without having the proper forms signed by both the child's doctor and parent.  Please do not leave any medication in your child's totebag or lunch pails. Again, we will not administer ANY medications except epi-pens and abluterol inhalers.

Can I celebrate my child's birthday?

Yes.  Please notify the staff if you would like to celebrate your child's birthday at MCH.  The following suggestions make your child feel very special:

  • Cookies
  • Popsicles
  • Fruit Juice
  • Mini cupcakes
  • A donation of a book in your child's name would be a treasure for all.
  • Send in a brief biography  of your child's life, with photos, one for each year.
  • If your child stays for lunch, have lunch together!
  • All "treats" must be pre-packaged/store bought.
  • Please give us notice if you would like to bring in items as we would like to make your child's day as special as we can.

How do I register? What do I need?

Please fill out an enrollment package available in the office.  Our doors are open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. (until 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 2009)so you may stop by during these times to pick up a registration packet. We will need to have a physical no more than a year old on file. Immunizations need to be current.  We also need to see the original birth certificate, passport or birth letter (licensing regulation) prior to your child's first day of school. Be sure to include at least 2 other contact names, addresses and phone numbers for emergency contact purposes.

The only supplies your child will need to bring on a daily basis is lunch if he/she will be staying during this time.  If so, please make sure the lunch pail is labeled with your child's name and you will need to date it everyday(masking tape is in the lobby).  Remember an ice pack and please include your child's drink and any condiments they may need.

Please no backpacks!  We simply do not have enough closet space for these items. Thanks for understanding.  Should your child need a change of clothes for "just in case" instances, we will gladly store these in our main storage closet just be sure to label your child's clothes with his/her name.
